Peppy Miller (2012)
So this is the beautiful Peppy (Berenice Bejo) from the incredible movie, The Artist.
Ok, so right from the start I had a vision for the kind of expression I was after. Finding reference for the kind was a nightmare, so I moved on with the little I could find and had a hard time getting things right in the beginning. Eventually through the struggle I began discovering more and more ways to identify the issues and from there, the way forward became more clear to push each stage further and further.
From this I realized that we really do have to have a clear understanding about the level we want to achieve within ourselves. If you donβt, it will be easy to get half way with something and be happy enough with it, not realizing that you can take it sooo much further. Achieving greatness or anything is nothing more than a mindset. So experience more, get into the details of life, figure out what you want and become stubborn about believing in yourself. This will only broaden your horizons of what you can do and become.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the video π

For the best study of this time lapse, I recommend viewing in 720 HD and focusing on single areas at a time to more easily grasp the process I go through in detail when painting.
